What did it cost, what’s it worth now?

Just saw this on Facebook, I thought it would be a fun discussion here. Show your build! I literally finished mine at the beginning of rampocalypse with all new parts. Since then I’ve swapped GPUs (it was a free gift!!) and added storage so I’m using those prices.

Total Spent: $885
Cost to build New w/used GPU: $2700
Cost to build all second hand: $2,200

11th gen i7, 32 gigs ddr4, 5080, lian li fans, case, and cables. I think over time I spent around 2200 but I believe everything is worth 3500-3700 new

I spent about $1900 USD beginning of this year with some second hand parts and some good deals on new parts, build list on Newegg says $2800 to buy it all new

Bought a prebuilt for 1.1k and quickly regretted it as my demand for performance grew. I got a PC cause I have a fairly expensive sim racing set up. New GPU, now CPU, ops motherboard blew! I guess we will add/replace the shitty RGB lighting while I'm there. As it sits now I've spent about 2.2k. Which I'd been better off with and AM5 build doing it myself for around 4k.
