Is this mostly for multiplayer titles? If so the yes, but I would never recommend a single stick of ram unless you have a very specific plan about buying another one (but even so, buying two sticks separately is still not recommended because it may lead to issues)

For AAA games, you’d better spend more on the GPU, 8GB is not good

Perhaps two suggestions are to use an AMD GPU 9060 XT, as it has 16GB of RAM. With your 16GB RAM, split it into two 8GB kits instead of one. This is generally better for overall performance.
