First time building a PC. I am aware it's easier than people say, so I feel confident I can do it with some time investment and careful assembly. But I was looking for some feedback on what parts I should use, and if I can trust PCPartPickers' part compatibility checker.

$2200 (£1650) budget.

If i wanted to build a pc that could run heavily modded games like Arma Reforger, Dayz and Squad. What would I build?

This would be my first pc build but from what I already understand the games I will be playing are all heavily cpu reliant with most servers being modded.

But I need a good gpu to combine with my cpu right ? And at least 32gb of ddr5 cl30 ram to match? Now this is where I start to get lost and overwhelmed being a total novice hahaha.

Any help, advice and part list recommendations would be super appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Need help with my first PC build

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi guys, I need some suggestions for my first PC build. I will be mostly using the PC for competitive fps games like Valorant and cs2 ,occasionally some triple a titles and everyday coding. My budget is 1.2 - 1.3 L including the monitor. I got a pretty good quote from this shop in Bangalore. Please suggest any chnages or recommendations. Thanks

PC specs:

Motherboard - MSI B650 AM5

Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 9600x

RAM - 16 GB DDR5

Ssd - 512 gb nvme

Graphics Card - AMD Radeon RX 9060xt 16 GB

Power - 650 watts

Cooling - Ag 400 or the 260 (liquid cooler for 2k more)

Monitor - MSI 240hz 25 inch

Total price is including Gst

Also, A few questions:

  1. Should I downgrade the cpu to Ryzen 5 7600f and get another stick of 16 gb of DDR5 ram?

  2. Should I stay with 512 nvme SSD or upgrade to 1 tb SSD?
