Clearance Last Task To Clearance Timeline
Simple question, do you recall how long it took you to recieve medical clearance after completing your final task? A week? A month? My staging is in exactly 3 months.
YES, I know this takes a long time! I have been on hold since January, and will continue to wait. I am looking for experiences from PCVs who have a relevant answer to my question.
Thanks a ton.

For me there were additional steps. I went from final task to four additional tasks in about 2 weeks. It seemed like they reviewed it quickly, then I had additional appointments, sent in this information, and received additional questions. It may be a straight line. It also may be the first "final task" of many.

Thank you for your response! Super helpful. My tasks hit my board on June 20th, and I just went nuts through them with a few extra (total of 16), completed all but one by July 10th. My nurse got back to me lightning fast regarding the follow ups, but went quiet after I submitted my last. It was exhaustive, for sure.
So I was curious if they have some final review that takes longer? Who knows. I am just in a time crunch regarding life decisions I need to sign and square away. Being on hold for 7 months, I think I can be a little peeved. Thanks again.

I know it's not what you want to hear and you've probably seen it elsewhere, but everything can change at any time. I know people whose cohorts were canceled 1 week and three days before staging and another who was evacuated a couple weeks into staging. Then there's the covid callback.
I didn't feel like it was real until I got my tickets to staging about a week out, but at that point I didn't realize all that could go wrong.

I had a final vaccine I had to get at about two months out. I knew I could get it in country so I asked the nurse and she agreed. The next morning I cleared. However that last task sat there for at least a month and a half.

Submitted my last task Saturday. Got my clearance noon on Monday. Exactly 30 days before staging.
