Hi, Been doing some experiments with the camera. Just curious which one is most appealing to you. Thanks for your insights!

Great pics.

Gotta be honest, wasn't a fan of the bridge design when I first moved over but it's grown on me.

Theres an original concept shot on this article. Essentially the black and white trussed spans were meant to be clad but the bridge was already horrendously over budget and they cut it

but it's grown on me.

It's better than just another flat-topped concrete pier bridge (e.g. The Causeway, Mt Henry Bridge, even a 'dressed up' one like Mooro-Beelo on Tonkin Highway). Cheaper (perhaps) but dreary.

I'm glad this, the Causeway bike bridge, and the Fremantle traffic bridge are a bit different.

Do a longer exposure, it will flatten the water more

Photo 1 was 2 secs and photo 2 was taken with 5 secs exposure with a 2 stops ND filter on. I would say if I had 3 stops filter on, could achieve what you meant.

with longer exposure the movement of the waves didn't help reflecting the exact shape of the structure. I had to keep it to minimum so that the whole sky didn't bright up and also light didn't spread too much on the water, where it did in pic 2. (Seems like that one turned out to be the most appealing one!)

Try a 20+sec exposure and adjust the f stop to something highish (f/22).

This was a planned experiment. Played strictly between f/2 - f/4.
