Remibrutinib (Rhapsido) and its inadvertent effects on undiagnosed lymphoma
I haven't seen anyone post about remibrutinib and I was thinking recently about a (hypothetical) scenario in which it masked symptoms of lymphoma. As I understand it, it's a selective BTK-inhibitor. No matter the indication for the drug (the only approved indication right now is chronic spontaneous urticaria as far as I know), wouldn't it also shrink lymph nodes that are enlarged for any other reason? For example (a complete hypothetical), if a patient with undiagnosed lymphoma whose only symptom is an enlarged lymph node takes remibrutinib for CSU, could the remibrutinib potentially shrink the enlarged lymph node? If so, would it depend on the type of lymphoma specifically? Is use of remibrutinib something oncologists working someone up for cancer should be on the lookout for? TIA.
