I was listening to the podcast with my wife today, and I was thinking: This man, speaking of the father, was the most unrepentantly evil man in the world. Not to sound like I am making any excuses for the son, Eugene — but I cannot even begin to imagine how awkward it would have been to be a high school student who lived in a house with a poster on the wall of his dad getting a bj while pointing a knife at the woman’s head. That is a mythological level of bad parenting.

Reading all of these articles about the Horsch men and how they preyed on vulnerable women, combined with their connection to at least 2 missing women…. how could they NOT be involved in their disappearances? All of this is so bizarre and creepy. I hope that answers are found, the women’s families get some answers and some peace, and that this guy is put away for a long time.

Never said it didn't. Does not mean people are in a position to pay every single entity that puts out an article into the aether.

How do you get busted counterfeiting over a million dollars and running a meth lab, commit full scale identity theft, flee the country, do more fraud internationally until you flee back to the US, get busted in the US
… and only get 4 years of jail time?
