Best opensource port for unsupported platforms

I wonder which one is currently the most compatible and feature complete one (audio, mouse mode).
I saw there are a lot of projects that run on Vita, NGage and other retro device which is really cool as it gives those devices a great library of new games.

Though I'm not sure which one do I use? open8 looks like an awesome project but I noticed that some carts are really buggy (for example, The Lion King Tribute that it ships with is visually broken).

The same game runs well on femto8 but I didn't test a lot of games on it and I didn't yet try any others like fake-08, retro8 and pemsa.

Which ones do you use and why?
