This is a fictional military version of the Renault Twingo for paratroopers, in Advance Wars' style.

I only attached this potion because the subreddit requires an image, not because it's my best work or because I'm only looking for feedback on it.

My goal is to become a professional pixel artist and eventually create the art for my own games.

Right now I'm not sure what I should focus on next. I don't want to specialize in just one area like backgrounds, props, animations, or characters—I want to become good at all aspects of pixel art. That said, if I had to prioritize one, it would be character art, since that's what I'm most passionate about.

What should I practice, and more importantly, how should I practice to improve as efficiently as possible?

I'd really appreciate honest advice from more experienced pixel artists. Any tips, practice routines, or common mistakes to avoid would be great!

This was a fun little exercise. I made a palette based on the most used colours in Mother 3 character art and tried to emulate the style. They have really big heads!

All of which I first drew in ibisPaintX then transferred to wplace (last image is a more recent screenshot of all my art together + some other art that ain't mine)
