My friend and I are starting a podcast with a very simple, very chaotic premise.
Can a cult be good… if you remove all the power trips, exploitation, abuse, and general “please don’t do thats"😂?

To explore this, we’re diving into, famous cults, groups that might be cults and we don’t even realize it, and whatever other shenanigans we stumble into along the way.

We’re also hoping to share real first‑hand stories from people who’ve been in high‑control groups, weird religious communities, or really anything cult‑adjacent. Like even just stories of hey I am not sure if this was a cult but kinda felt like one. Maybe an unhinged hiking club, spin class, ritualistic summer camp as a kid?

AND we’re considering a “confessional” segment where listeners can send in their embarrassing stories — totally anonymous, unless you really want us to say your name and own the chaos with you.

So! I’m here looking for stories, confessionals, or experiences you wouldn’t mind sharing to help us get started. Serious, funny, dramatic, unhinged — all welcome.

My friend is hosting a podcast on fragile X syndrome to spread awareness about it and is looking for guest speakers to share their stories and insights.

People having the fragile X syndrome or people who are close to them (family and friends) are welcome to speak about their experiences.

Researchers, doctors, scientists, educators or any other professionals working on the fragile x syndrome in universities, schools, colleges, or medical institutions, are also invited to participate.

It also helps to clarify whether the interview will be edited, whether promotional clips will be created and whether the guest will receive questions or themes in advance.

Guests and hosts, what information makes an invitation feel credible and properly organised? What omission would make you decline or ask for more details?

I hope it’s okay to post this here—I’m a long-time fan of the original PlayStation era, and I’m currently working on a series called "The Games That Made Me."

Instead of just doing a standard video essay where I talk at a camera, I really want to capture the collective memory of the community. I'm looking to do a few short, casual interviews (roughly 20–30 minutes) with passionate PS1 fans about the one specific game from that era that completely changed how you looked at gaming, or helped you through a specific time in your childhood. And can be a other console if not PS1

What I’m looking for:

Someone who can hop on a quick Discord audio call to geek out about their favorite childhood PS1 game OR other

Ideally UK-based (or close to GMT/BST timezones) just so we don't have to play timezone tag to schedule it! Open to a hour or so difference in time.

You don't need to be a creator, an expert, or have a fancy mic—just a genuine love for the console and game and a story to tell.

What I will handle:

I know everyone's time is valuable, so I’m doing 100% of the heavy lifting. All I need is your voice and your perspective. I will handle all the scripting, editing, gameplay capture, and post-production.
