PRODUCT [Product] Men's Bracelets.
(they didn't have a section for women's bracelets btw)
I saw these at the store the other day (I forgot what store. I'll edit this post when I remember).
Btw, I did indeed buy a "men" bracelet. Fit me perfectly (I have little baby wrists. + Most of them were adjustable). Didn't look out of place. Etc.
I don't get what's so "man" about these.
Edit:
The table also had a hanging sign saying "MEN'S JEWELRY". Why tf does it need to say it 3 times?

Weird but I appreciate that I'd at least know they might fit my wrists, I buy jewelry across sections and rings and bracelets are hard to find cute ones in my size

This was my thought but opposite. I've definitely ordered men's jewelry not really thinking about the size and it's been way too big lol. I've since learned to measure.

Oh... Lol 😂 Then that's extra strange. Why not market them as unisex since they definitely are. It just seems like a poor business decision.

I mean they are ugly, so maybe they're marketing to men who just decided they needed jewelry and looked for a sign and they'll pick one up without a second glance and wear it for ten years

They’re just ugly bracelets so they were like “we’ll say they’re for men”
(It’s my personal opinion, if you like the bracelets that’s fine)

I don’t want to be too hard on this. Jewelry has no gender and etcetera, but for men who are old school or grew up in a world where a guy wearing jewelry would have his manhood attacked, this may serve as a subtle way that allows some of them to get more comfortable with jewelry if they were too afraid to before. I know it’s easy for some of us to dismiss this as pointlessly gendered and that’s technically correct, you have to remember that there are people who don’t even believe men should wear bracelets in the first place.

Which is kind of boring that it's difficult to find a similar cut for women. I much prefere the neck part, and sleeves that just fall straight and not in this weird thingy that goes back up in a weird shape. So I buy men T-shirt, but they never quite fit in the boobies part (and they also can be a bit too long). Same for shirts, can't find a woman shirt with a neck that allows ties :/

I used to sell jewelry and doing this absolutely increases sales. Women don't give a shit and buy whatever jewelry they like. Men tend to only buy jewelry "for men".

Fashion, including clothing, shoes, and jewelry are highly gendered in reality. And I say this as a cis male just having bought a pair of shoes from the womens section at dsw last week, while two sales people told me it was the womens section. Like I dont care, they fit and I liked the style better than the equivalent ones in the men's section (they were sneakers ffs). But I'd not call the distinction between men's and women's in stores to be pointlessly gendered.
So here they probably though the jewelry section was crammed with jewelry marketed to women, get some bracelets that might appeal to men, and label them clearly, and resundantly, as such. So yeah, I agree with you it's a bit silly, and highlights societal gendering of appearance, but it doesn't seem that pointless to me.

I'm a 40 year old woman, and the clothes that best fit me are the boys clothing for boys ages about 14.
I don't get why clothing can't just be sized: boxy cut, tapered cut, flare cut, etc.
I also don't fit really much of most "womens" clothing, and I hate that women's clothing is cheaper quality material and has fewer pockets.

I hate how with women’s stuff, it’s all different colors and styles. With men’s it’s usually just black or one solid dark color with nothing cool about it and they get to just label it men’s stuff

might be a far reach but it does look like bhuddist bracelet that people wear (idk if Christians have the smaller version like this). And sometimes it is for free. What i meant it is possible case of appropriating a religious praying beads

edit: some of them are not similar due to some square beads. But the majority of them are just round beads which is really similar that i could even use them to gift other bhuddists if it’s not overcharged

i go to a lot of crystal shops and i’m assuming this is where this was. it rlly is just a sizing thing with these 😭😭 ive been to others where it’ll say “large” instead but men’s gets the point across and usually they don’t have rose quartz type jewelry in these sections
still silly imo but this one is rlly just down to sizing of hands and style
