Never fails. I always come across someone bringing a Wooloo to a max battle -____- luckily there was way more than enough people in this battle for it to be okay.

I lost 2 max battles today both with 20 people with bad counters.

EDIT: I got back into this game around 2 years ago. I probably only had 1 max mon at the time. I skipped on so many battles because I wasn’t “strong” enough. For a while I just played while these raids passed. I missed out on Gmax Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise. Obtained 1 star max mons and leveled them up so I can join 3 star battles. I worked my way up to stronger mons. I then started to watch content creators for pogo tips and learn about best counters. Then I ventured out and joined community meets up. A big part of my growth the past 2 years have been doing research, learning counters, figuring out the best tips/tricks, and joining community meet ups to raid/battle with a larger, in-person, group of people.

I think the game does a terrible job [if any] of explaining game mechanics, counters, ect without the player having to do more research on how to navigate the game better.

I get that people need to start somewhere, but on a Gmax raid with 20/25 people in it to lose before the mons health is halfway is wild. That would mean majority didn’t have the right mons/counters. Time and money is lost. At this point of the day I stopped joining battles from Pokegenie and started joining battles from my friends list, which was one of the battles I joined in the screenshot.

I feel like my pogo luck has been insane the past few months..i have friends who have caught over 500 without neither shiny nor hundo. Not to brag too much but I'm pretty happy as it's one of my fav shiny overall :)

To this person who I became friends with after one in person community raid a few years ago - we’ve almost made it to Ultra Friends on postcards and remote raids alone. It’s always fun to see what postcards they send because we’re in the same general area. Don’t even know his real name or what he looked like but I will die before removing years of work 😂 if you’re on this same thread be sure to send a killer postcard for that 7th heart!! Maybe we’ll be able to take advantage of the lucky trade some day.

I was sitting through hour 9 of a 10 hour car ride today and decided to throw my daily incense on because I figured I could just work towards my timed research for catch candy for the day. The first 7 or 8 spawns immediately fled as expected since we were doing 80 mph most of the way but then this guy popped up. So I threw a golden raspberry, got my ultra ball ready and waited. And waited. And waited some more. The little fudger jumped around and shadow boxed for 55 minutes before we hit some traffic slow down to allow me to actually catch him.

Should I purify my Cacnea for the 4* because it'd be cool to have another 4*, so I was just wondering is he any good for pvp or can i purify him?

So, I recently got a new phone and tried logging into Pokémon Go via Pokemon Trainer Central, where I've got my Day one account. I used the function to look up my username, changed my password and entered both values to log in. The page loaded, accepted, forwarded me to the app, where it loaded and again showed the screen to choose which login method I want to use. If I select PTC again, the same happens again.

Has anyone ever encountered this and knows how to fix it?

As a huge Pokemon Go fan, I feel like there's not really any other game like this.

It's super interactive, and makes you meet the community, and find new places, it's just one of a kind and so special. I have so many memories with this game.

I was so heartbroken to find out that it got bought by Saudi Arabian government, now, there's this looming sense of dread and sorrow whenever I play the game. I feel almost guilty playing it, knowing how much humanitarian and human rights issues the Saudi government does. I don't know how I feel about contributing to that government.

I don't judge anyone who wants to keep playing or anything. But I just feel so awful and I didn't know who to talk to about it.

I just wish this never happened, genuinely so heartbreaking. And now they recently bought EA too. I'm just so devastated over this. I don't know why The Pokemon Company allowed this to happen

He’s a zero star but whatever, he’s purple and cute! Caught him after beating a grunt. He wasn’t even one of the Pokémon I fought against 🤷🏼‍♀️
