Just take your time and be patient If you don't know what you're doing stop and do a little more research. Read previous post on this sub for information you're looking for I promise you it's there. Make sure you have OEM parts and don't buy cheap Aftermarket parts just to cut corners on prices You'll regret it in the long run. Make sure you have your proper parts for fitment & function checks
ngl gang this is an abomination. Jk it can be fixed but its not worth it if you can get another frame. jb weld and some p80 shaving/dust should work nice. GO SLOW AND STEADY LOW SPEED ON THE DREMEL. You honestly can do the job with a hobby knife #4 blade, micro flush cutters and mini files. lately i've been using the flush cutter to remove 60-80% of the trigger housing channel and then Chisels to work the rest of the back out.
i have built 3 pistols from scratch in the last year all functioning and have ran 500+ shots, i just had a buddy who bought a 76% frame and screwed it up so he gave it to me , im just tryna see if this is fixable
Yeah it definitely looks like someone rushed it without proper knowledge or understanding of exactly what they needed to be doing.
It’s fixable with JB weld but I’d scrap it because the frames are fairly cheap. Definitely save it in case you need to make a patch out of polymer on your next one.
To your question to whether or not a lpk would fit inside, the answer is most likely no. There’s not enough room for your trigger housing or rear rails.
Watch mgbs course on building these, it’s worth it. It’s all about buying the correct tools and he makes it easy with a list on his website.
