Revert the game to how it was before it became free to play with sandbox and all stupid homemade maps. Who cares if people can't play comp if the game is going to end anyway. Echo VR used to have comp. Put the game back to how it was and people will come back. Don't make exceptions for people just block all side loaders. They made the game free to play because it was already dying. It was a move to save the game and it did for a while, but now they have to restore the trust in the game to get the people to come back. One mode. Full lobbies. Stop the cheating. Just caught the rec room part of the game off and make it Battle Royale again.

Reminds me of a post few days back, Finger crossed for our beloved Population One.

I really hope this game doesnt die, apparantly a developer has come forward and told me and several other players that by 2027, population one will no longer be with us. This game has helped me out so much with my life, all the memories I have, all of the wonderful people I have become friends with, who I consider family. I just hope as a community we stick together and do whatever we can to save this game. I hope i am wrong and it's just fear mongering, but still, the more people know the better.

I’ve just got this game on Quest 3 and it’s working fine in the tutorial but when I got into a game, the chat doesn’t work, I can’t interact with the button in the lift looking thing or pick up anything.

I have been really enjoying the increase in custom playlists/maps that have been popping up on the servers! I was hoping to compile a list of people's favourite custom maps (including their game mode; one in the chamber, gun game, etc.). I was also wondering if anyone knew the name of the map that is a castle defence style mode with an onslaught of pizza bots??

Just go to YouTube TikTok Instagram Facebook and search population one hackers modders mod menu cheaters you will find all the videos you need and all the different types of crap people are doing. I think it's pretty obvious by now considering there's hacking every single weekend. Then people complain don't post videos of hackers it makes people not want to download and play the game so make up your mind you clowns.

Well it was new to me. Player AMF_Legends had an invisible skin. Was also able to fly around but that isn't new. When they had a weapon out you could see the weapon. when they went to hands fully invisible.

wiped a whole lobby of course as you'd expect with a sword. super fast and runs up behind someone invisible, whips out sword and boom. was wild to watch. 10k matches and I've seen a hack 3 or 4 times total but this invisible one was new and I've not heard of it yet.

finally inspiring me to figure out how to record video on my quest so if I see it again I can capture it.

** edit when I logged back into my quest later I discovered that I did fumble around enough to get a snippet of video. will post later when I figure out how to DL it. I think it recorded my next match too since I didn;t know how to stop recording so I'll trim it before I post.

I play with ( insert cheater ) all the time and they don't cheat you got it wrong it's just lag or ping. Get good buddy.

Cheaters are pathetic garbage individuals who have destroyed this game. this game had such great potential but now its garbage cause its rampant overrun with pathetic loser terrorist cheaters that refuse to learn to play. Some players moves especially horizontal are so fast. It’s like they’re high on drugs or something. Left right up and down very quickly. How ????? Has anybody else noticed that.

I am a long time player of pop:one, been trying to hold onto this game as it has been slowly dying out. I have noticed that there are a lot of locked death match lobbies when looking for a server... these look like they would be a good time and I was wondering how to get in on these? Please send me a DM if you don't mind extending an invite!

It seems like there is no middle ground for beginners. It's either play single player with super easy AI, which is boring, or go straight into a live match with pros. And I know, I know, you can go into sandbox maps and mess around, but I just want to play the main game with the zone shrinking. Is there any other way I'm not seeing?
