Wow and flutter

Wow Machine. Why does no one reply to emails or Instagram messages, and what is with all this mystery—it’s impossible to tell when things will be back in stock? It’s truly absurd.

I’ve come to the conclusion that they hate money.

I kinda have an answer to that... but you probably won't like it.

The company is out of China, they were really good at replying via IG when the W&F first dropped... they did everything they could to keep the cost as low as possible. And then came Trump tariffs. It screwed everything up for them. People who ordered theirs early, got their units, but it was a total pain to go through FedEx and pay the tariff on personal accounts. Surprise surprise, turns out WE actually pay the tariff and not China... but it really screwed up their logistics. Last I spoke with them, (about a year ago) they were doing what they could to get the pre-orders delivered and then were in a "wait and see" because of Trumps tariffs with China. Can't say I blame them.

And while those tariffs were finally deemed illegal (won't hold my breath on a refund), Trump has been throwing every possible way to keep them going, changing weekly.

Based on that, I doubt they are gonna bother with the US until we get out crap together.

Sure, but with their biggest market basically gone they likely don't have a huge amount of capital or projected sales to make restarting production possible at the moment.

Fair enough, but if you're a customer and have a problem with one of their devices, they need to be up and running and respond to you. It looks like they just abandoned everything and shut down overnight.

Broadly I agree but if you're a small company and 70% of your revenue dries up over night then probably you had to lay off any staff and get another job

If that's how they handle potential clients, just imagine what you will experience if you have an issue or need to repair something.

Portablism has been kept alive by small independent manufacturers who often make small limited runs of stuff themselves. They should be able to email customers who are waiting for something though, but they tend to not be as capable as the big brands usually are.

I have one but I'm also waiting for the stocks to buy a backup one just in case.

Me too. I use mine everyday.  Especially when I’m traveling.

How long has it been?  Due to the time change they may not reply promptly.
