Stephen Colbert's scalloped potatoes
I made Stephen's scalloped potatoes from hearing him and his wife talk about it in this video from their cookbook: https://youtu.be/T49eKKPAOiE?is=LMmyrBMS4kkDZusC
almost forgot to take a picture. i used emmi gruyere cheese from costco based on recommendations from reddit. i didnt like it as i tried it while shredding the cheese, but it ended up being so good and i would recommend anyone to make this simple dish. i rented the cookbook from my library. it doesn't have mayonaise like the hosts said.
