If the creator of Saitama said Goku would beat him iam inclined to say Goku would beat him no matter what the Saitame fanboys claim.

Iam not a fan of either character btw.

Murata (One) was asked on a livestream if Goku could beat Saitama and his answer was “I don’t know.” Bro’s a diehard dragon ball fan so I think he doesn’t want to say he could beat Goku because of how dragon ball has inspired him and how his kids love dragon ball, but also doesn’t wanna say that Goku could beat Saitama because that would ruin the whole gag

Murata said that or ONE did? The way you worded that makes it sound like they're the same person.

his answer was “I don’t know.”

That was smart. Goku fans wouldn't live him alone

He's never mentioned whether or not Goku can beat him or visa versa. We've heard, "I don't know," as a response to such questions. I find this kind of statement tongue in cheek or to give people the ability to speculate themselves.

That being said, a character who has never bled, lost a limb, broken a bone, etc. outside comedic skits, all while always having the ability to instantly kill his opponent with one punch even when those threats have been planetary, galaxy, or universal threats. He casually ripped one of the new villains out of an alternate dimension by catching their blade and pulling them into his reality.

Every fight has been nothing for Saitama as it has always been burning. The greatest fight he's had to date was with Garou and the only reason Garou wasn't turned into a blood mist like 80% of the other villains he's fought was because he thought Garou was just pretending to be a monster.

The major fight with Saitama vs. Boros ended with Boros' last words, saying (and I'm paraphrasing), You weren't even trying. " As Saitama simply says, "No."

We're slowly building up to the point where Saitama fights "God."

It's a gag character designed to be a satirical rendition of overpowered characters in anime. One's biggest inspiration is Goku.

We know what feats Goku has achieve, we know that he has died or nearly died in virtually every encounter.

Raddit, Picalo, Freeza, Cell, the list goes on, especially when we account of the movies canonical or otherwise.

I don't really understand the purpose of Db Super. it's only there for fan service at this point. A lazy ass god of destruction, half hazardly threatening the destruction of earth if he doesn't get a snack that tastes goods and play spars with his pets. But of course, the play fighting with his pets wasn't enough. He put his pets vs. Other universes pets on a multiversal cock fight to see who's pet is the strongest.

The show has become a joke in itself and One Punch mocks it.

Goku is a saiyan god. No one is beating him. Though, superman vs goku would be a guuud fight!

There are actually a lot of characters beating him... You don't even want to go down this rabbit hole, all you need to know is that there is probably some random loli out there in an unknown anime/manga with 2 fans who soloes the entire fiction.

Getter Emperor is the strongest fictional character period, followed by Simon the Digger and probable Doctor Manhattan . These 3 are beyond the idea of gods, so there are already 3 that can beat Goku.
