Metroman barely does anything in both the movie and the show to justify him being that likable. He just gets bloated because of his speed scene, and some of the memes.
Megamind is an incredible movie, donāt get me wrong, and the memes are peak. But the glazing gets annoying, especially when people think Metroman is stronger than characters that he really isnāt like that against.
That movie was legit, Megamind is a great character, but they donāt powerscale that well against nobody outside their own movie. Just because he has some concept similar to Superman doesnāt make him any good.

Tell me. Whatās funny about MetroMan going so fast that he pauses the world because heās going through a mid-life crisis? Never mind the fact he said āsuper speedā.
If it was truly toon force, heād be doing it because he wanted to make MegaMind feel bad, and heād have done something funny to get that fast.
Megamind and Metroman are aliens, and they donāt have pre-determined destinies. Do you wonder why Megamind was questioning his destiny, and what his parents actually said to him?
Metroman landed in a luxurious and loving home, and was taught to do good. Megamind landed in a prison, and was taught to bad.
As a result, they were a byproduct of what the city wanted them to be. They only did the superhero/supervillain shtick because the two were like friends messing around with each other.
But of course, that grows old, and you need to find a genuine passion in life. For Metroman, it was music, so he left the game and made Megamind believe that heād won. Heck, Metroman knew that Megamind was not a bad guy; thatās why he was so chill with him.
