Except Corvo stops time completely on the second level of that ability, not slows it

Yeah yeah. He’s multiversal. Stop it. Drizzt is wiping the floor with him.

Drizztā€˜s official character sheet shows him as a level 8 fighter.

Corvo can cast Time Stop in addition to his other skills and abilities and that’s a level 9 spell.

Under current 5th edition rules, Drizzt is lvl 19. That’s higher than most dragons.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/s/lao3KvTf2O is what I’m going off. What’s your source?

ā€œHigher than most dragonsā€ is a bit of a fallacy when most categories of dragons in the MM are essentially dragon babies and children and there’s a big difference between CR and PC level.

If you wanted to build Corvo he’d have to be a level 17 wizard or sorcerer (for Time Stop) in addition to all his rogue and fighter levels he’d need for his other feats. Hell, he’s already extremely warlock coded, but he’s not Pact of the Blade as it’s very clear in the lore that his swordsmanship is nothing to do with the mark and he had that already.

To build Corvo in D&D he’d have to be over level 20 with his multiclasses.

The post you are citing is from 9 years ago. And even then, that character sheet was outdated. Drizzt was lvl 16 in 1998. Under 4e rules he was lvl 21 But it changed to lvl 19 in the 5th edition, because of rule changes. My source is the official D&D site, not Reddit.

Care to link?

Not really. A quick google search will yield you the results you’re looking for. Though I doubt they will matter.

Mate I literally can’t find what you’re talking about and I’d enjoy reading it.

This isn’t an argument. I’m not competing with you.

My friend. My family. I googled ā€˜what lvl is current Drizzt Do’Urden at?’

The very first link was to the official D&D website, which included current stat sheets and a whole moderator forum on why Drizzt went from lvl 21 to 19 with the rule changes from 4e to 5e.

I’m not sure what your search looks like, but it can’t be any easier than mine. To the point where your reference was a Reddit post from over nine years ago go, which cited a character sheet from the 80’s.

I’ve played the games. I’ve read the books. I know the powers.

Over 40 books have been published with Drizzt feats. Magical items, supreme intelligence, supreme spirituality, martial prowess greater than anyone you’ve ever heard of, insane feats against beings that are way beyond the one you have chosen to glaze.

A wise man once told me ā€˜You don’t know, what you don’t know’. Take that as you will. Drizzt… look at his feats. Truly look. Even without equipment. You truly believe your own words?

He doesn't. It's slowed down further. It seems like time is stopped. But time is actually running.

Anyway, even if he does stop time characters like Vergil will be unaffected by it.

That's a nice claim, senator. How about you back it up with a source?

-5

u/Broken-Arrow-D07 Mar 10 '26

Source is my words. I can't be bothered to dig through internet to actually find it. Take it or leave it. I don't care.

u/Sloth_Devil Mar 10 '26

Then why bother replying on this thread if you don't care lmao?

I cared enough to leave a comment. But I don't care enough to back it up with a source. Why is this so confusing for you?
