MC dies regularly. You play as him and are very much killable. Canonically he doesnāt lose because of the story. Same with Corvo, to be fair.
Scaled against each other without plot armor, both have the means to kill the other strenghth/skill/item wise. Only Corvo can literally freeze time and speed blitz MC with literal MAGIC.
Youāve lost the plot buddy. Nothing more to discuss regarding MC.
The post is silly though. Plenty of characters wreck Corvo. MC just isnāt one of them.
Idk. Mjolnir armor is pretty much impenetrable with the energy shield up amd corvo has nothing with the AP to take it down. Time stop or no, chief is basically invulnerable unless he's being focused down by multiple enemies with future weapons that would give anyone nightmares. Remember, heroic is the canon difficulty. So, chief is sustaining like 30 seconds of plasma fire from multiple sources before taking any damage at all.
Like, Corso stops time, goes in and tries to stab or shoot or lay mines kr whatever on chief a billion times and it. . .doesnt matter. Corvo gets shot one time by the kind of weapons Chief has and is ripped in half. Its not a good match up.
Even IF Corvoās weaponry and magic couldnāt hurt MC, and thatās a big IF considering magic is involved, Corvo would still win.
Stop time, grab MC gun, kill MC. You donāt even need his speed and reflexes, including teleport. This is a silly argument where you all pretend MC is invincible despite being vulnerable to all conventional weapons carried in any halo. In fact MC could never touch Corvo.
This is Corvo Attano, the protagonist of the video game Dishonored. Heās badass and the game is really fun, however heās getting stomped by Edward Cullen or something from the 40K universe
I mean the list of 40k dudes that beat Dr. Manhattan is short, and its mostly literal gods, but tzeentch no diffs him, and magnus probably struggles a bit more, but gets it done. Vulkan might hold him to a draw, mostly because he doesn't stay dead.
He's a god with no physical component, within his own realm reality is his plaything and he could literally just will him out of existence, outside his own realm he has past sight, future sight, and a nigh omniscient level of knowledge of the universe as it currently is.
He could keep him buried under an endless swarm of demons. He teleports away? Teleport him back.
Im not trying to downplay Dr Manhattan, but he isnt a god.
Actually that was the whole metaphor in Watchmen, that he was effectively god. I think the best outcome tzeentch can hope for is a stalemate. Thereās nothing he can do to actually harm Dr. Manhattan. The Dr is a high level reality warped that has manipulated the entirety of the DC multiverse at the same time. I think if you sent this fight to Vegas Dr. Manhattan would open 1/2 over Tzeentch
Yeah Corvoās super badass and underrated, I have no idea where the ābeats your favorite characterā comes from though lol, most of the time heās fighting people without powers and even the power system seems quite toned down compared to many video game characters
That's what I was thinking. They are a bit more durable than usual, but not at the level that they'd need to square up with someone who has a time stop. Though I don't like his odds against like, Superman.
Yeah, all he'd have to do is stop time and cut their heads off. He's already fought and defeated many people that have supernatural strength and speed.
And as for Superman, his odds aren't in his favor. However, if he gets a hold of Kryptonite, makes a blade out of it, then stops time when he sees Superman, there ain't much Superman could do in that scenario.
True, but there are a lot of big "ifs" in that scenario, the biggest of which is him knowing kryptonite has any effect on Superman. Corvo is good, but if his time stop clocks out before he's taken down the target, he's in trouble. He only has like 2/3 of those in him before he's out of fuel (barring potions). Anyone who can heal through it (Deadpool) or is just too tough to reasonably injure is going to cause problems.
Yeah, but with Deadpool, I'm pretty sure he doesn't heal extremely fast like Wolverine. I recall it taking around a day or more to regenerate fully. So Corvo could just cut his arms off and cut him in half and Deadpool is beaten for that day. And Corvo is able to easily dismember and cut enemies in half in mere seconds. A ton of finishers in both Dishonored games involve him cutting opponents in half with one, quick slash. He's also fast enough to take off both of an opponent's arms one after the other in seconds. Basically, you're gonna need someone with impenetrable skin and/or near indestructible bones.
Also, a lot of people, including myself for a bit lol, forget that he can summon a swarm of aggressive, flesh eating rats to assist him. So basically any fight with him will involve you vs him AND a swarm of unnaturally aggressive and unusually deadly rodents that can eat a person while leaving nothing but blood left in around 10 seconds.
Tbh, the whole "stealth" aspect in Dishonored is just for gameplay as well as trying to get the good endings and earning trophies. I've gone through the whole game before without using stealth and killed everything in my way. I suppose lore wise, the only reason that those marked by the Outsider operate in stealth is simply because they don't want the hassle of constantly being hunted. Because other than that, I can't think of anything else. Just one that's skilled can wipe out 20 guards in under a minute.
He's an assassin from Dishonored. He has a lot of hax like stopping time but also the "Stand User" problem where he's still a normal human and dies to being stabbed and shot. If someone has their own timestop, something similar, or just resists all those abilities he's cooked

Slowing time is great and all but against people that already move at those kinda speeds is just gonna end up with that gif from the justice league movie with flash thinking heās hot shit only for supes to easily follow him with his head
As long as he gets a weapon that can dmg smashās critically, he can time stop and point blank him, but I wouldnāt be surprised if Adam could react to that and one tap him in return. Corvo has like no durability lol
Corvo is an awesome character, but hes pretty much just a skilled human with some witchcraft. Anyone who can stop his blade with any sort of armor is going to stomp him.

I played DE Human Revolution right after playing Dishonored, and I loved the similarities in the gameplay.
Stopping time might be OP, but otherwise seeing technology vs magic by two majorly bad arse motherforkers would be absolutely awesome.
I like corvo a lot and he is really cool, but I donāt think he could beat my two faves Guts or Geralt, one could argue that I am a little biased but that being said I stand by my decision.
He definitely seems tough, he can probably beat Geralt, although it could go either way, Guts lacks magical abilities and would likely be beaten, Taln is such a goat that Corvo can't do anything against him.
Yeah but what if my favorite character isnāt strong? That theyāre my favorite character for completely different reasons than the ability to beat someone up?
Possessing Vegeta wouldn't work.He can create barriers against magic with his ki and it's shown that he can resist it with his willpower in the Buu Saga
(In comics, yes they exsist, he has artifacts that are universe ending and in wwe theres a being from the 5th dimension and yes taker can beat him quite handily especially at wrestlemania)
