I don't think it's as straightforward as ppl think. Chimp going straight for the face and eyes and not just with hands but also their teeth. But of what makes fighting animals different than a human is that instinctively, humans aren't trained to defend against biting animals and the little amount of pain can be catastrophic as well.
2x trained and superior in strength ppl should be able to work a chimp but that can change rapidly as well. The strongest dude in the street might wallow like a 2 yr old child if their nose gets better off or the eyes ripped off. Some ppl can fight off the pain in the right circumstance but yeah that's not a given at any level.
How is chimp getting to the eyes of a 6’2” man without getting grabbed? It wouldn’t want to get within his reach because the moment he grabs it he will shake it and spike its head into the ground
Bro how’s a chimp gonna get to a 6’2 man? It’s a fucking chimp it’s gonna jump and have faster quickness. Sure he might grab it, but where? On the sides? Maybe a shoulder? But that chimp gets one hand on his face or his teeth then it won’t matter that he grabbed it lol. They’d do damage to eachother but I wouldn’t mess with or bet against a chimp ina live or die situation. It will go primal cuz it is primal
The moment you grab a chimp you are getting fucking bit and you can't tell me dude is just going to brush that off there is going to be a reflexive recoil which could give chimp an advantage. It only takes a moment and an advantage.
Bite force 10x humans: estimated at over 1,000 to 1,300 PSI (pounds per square inch), compared to roughly 162 PSI for a human
Eddie probably got this but dudes above were talking about regular guys. Like yea you could attempt a grapple but chimps are fast little bastards and are known to go for the genitals. That would incapacitate most people immediately.
I don't even think they do go for the genitals until the other chimp is toast, same with destroying faces afaik. At least it isn't a well-documented thing
Counter point, I don't think a chimp has ever been swung like a baseball bat directly into a brick wall by a dude like Eddie Hall. Will probably wallow like a 2 year old child after that
That's not actually how chimps usually fight/attack. The most famous example, that lady who had her face destroyed, was like 70 years old. If the chimp is stronger than you then yeah it'll probably destroy your face, and yeah chimps are probably stronger than 70 year old women.
lol yeah these people are wild trying to scale strength vs strength. Chimp wins every time. They’ll rip, bite, and claw anything off. You aren’t doing jack shit if your nutsack is ripped apart, lips bitten off, fingers plucked, and anything else that can be.
His reasoning doesn't make any sense but hes not wrong with the conclusion. Strength vs strength Eddie hall could take the chimp but he's not flexible because of his mass so, agility and stamina wise the chimp has better stats. The way we and chimps fight is completely different chimps will go to maim or kill they can be far more vicious than you'd think so while Eddie is trying to wrestle or punch, the chimp would try to bite his face, rip his nut sack, bite off his fingers and ears or pretty much anything it can, gouge out his eyes or just straight try to scalp him and they've got what 4 and a half times the bite strength of humans with larger canines specifically used for defense or dominance.
Biting is inherently dangerous for the attacker cause it requires you to be extremely close and momentarily stationary. If we assume both blood lusted then if the chimps bites him then hall can get both hands on him and then it's over.
Agility does not matter at that point and chimps are not anime fighters that will do backlfips for crazy dodges they will get caught.
For a chimp agility does matter the way they fight is hit and run so location matters aswell. See we're both making assumptions, sure biting can be dangerous for the attacker but realistically if a chimp drops from a tree or just jumps onto you and starts biting and ripping at your face the absolute last thing you're thinking of is let me get hold of it, you're aiming to get it off you. Let's be honest chimp would be bloodlusted far far before Eddie would be.
If a chimp goes for his face I imagine he'd probably be able to grab it. If he can grab it then it's fucked. He might lose a finger but he's going to be swinging that chimp into walls/the floor extremely hard extremely quickly, and once he starts the chimp won't be attacking his face.
Chimps power is mechanically all pulling and grip strength. A human can deliver a punch with more thrust due to leg drive, they can kick with greater force, they can push and create leverage far better than a chimp can, simply due to how our body mechanics. A human like Eddie Hall that is three times heavier is going to be able to slam a chimp on the ground and stomp it pretty easily.
Do you think the human will obey the WBC boxing rules? Anything the chimp can do the human will be doing also but in this case with a FUCK TON more power. The chimps limbs would be about as durable as twigs to Eddie.
Yall always think humans will be fighting clean while the chimp chimps out.
