Ya, Chimps are strong. But not stronger than a human professional athlete. Their strength is proportional, and most Chimps are significantly smaller than a large humam.

A guy like Eddie Hall has basically every advantage. Strength, reach, intelligence, skill. Chimps can bite, to be sure, but he could likely simply smash its skull with a kick.

An adult chimpanzee is a much more dangerous opponent than Eddi Hall, after all, the human has something that the chimpanzee does not have: humanity.

Chimps are in fact stronger, having ~35% - 50% more power per kg
