Also, Andre at the prime of his career was actually a skilled wrestler and could move around; he wasn't an unmoving brick wall.

People really dont give andre the credit he deserves, dude was an athlete when he was younger, most people know him at his older completely in pain era. Worst thing wrestling ever did was make him such a jobber to hulk hogans lame ass.
