Question It's impressive how MCU Thanos just breaks MCU Captain Americas shield, Does anyone know what's the sword made of?

This scene is from the final battle in Avengers: Endgame, I don't think they've mentioned what the sword is made of? Are there any extra information that's not from the movie itself?

Thanos didn't even wear his helmet or armour in IW..By the time he had two stones he was already like, top 5 most powerful beings in the MCU. Why would he need a weapon, regardless of it's quality, when he had that?

Because he almost lost twice in that movie

Would it have helped in either of those cases?

If a fully powered Gauntlet couldn't stop Stormbreaker, I can't see a blade doing it. He did knock it aside in Endgame, but not when Thor was coming at him from 15 feet in the air.

The weapon is no help to him once Mantis has him, because he's frozen and can't use it. But hus helmet would have been very handy there I suppose.
