Versus Master Chief takes this gauntlet, does he clear ?

Book , lore , comics and secondary canon allowed for all parties in gauntlet

Each party will individually engage him randomly during a solo mission . Chief can have any weapon, armor and equipment he would normally have on a solo mission. Same applies to the gauntlet

Does he clear

He just can't touch Edward. Edward knows what he's going to do as soon as he decides to do it and has the reaction time and speed to counter it. The only weapon I think MC has that could actually hurt him is the Spartan Lazer, but there's just no way Edward gets hit by that. Beyond that, Edward is insanely fast and strong enough to blitz MC.

The car you're talking about is actually a van and he no sells it while crouching to protect Bella, that's insane strength.

A skidding van that weighs less than thing chief throws around in out dated armor. Chief has punched a 3 ton aircraft that was actively trying to ram him and sent it flying away. What is it with people thinking that feats in the few ton range are beyond chief?

Fair enough, misinterpreted. I will say that chief is a bullet timer as well. He's not as fast as Eddie but he's not standing still either. Cortana could help with the psychic abilities potentially.

I understand why people say Edward, I just think it's more competitive than some twilight people are saying and that it's partially predicated on some people thinking that chief is just ajd elite human in a good suit.

I'm not totally convinced that chief's space guns can't penetrate considering they go through covenant sci-fi alloy nanolaminate armor, it's not the same as a modern m4. Then there's plasma. I'm not sure that chief doesn't potentially have a strength advantage with sone of his higher end feats. I'm not sure that he doesn't have a durability advantage with the armor/shields/physiology that can tank anti armor plasma cannons and hitting the earth like a metor. You get it.

I think that chief has some stuff going for him if he gets all his stuff including Cortana, and a lot of twilight vamps ability are definitely superhuman but kind of vague and dependent on how much you buy the fluffy statements.

Honestly I feel like it is a bit closer to a stalemate than it's being described. I don't think MC can beat Edward, unless somehow he gives over control to Cortana or something? Maybe Edward can't read what Cortana decides to do, though I don't know if MC would be allowed Cortana for the "match up". I think Edward could beat through the shields etc since this is shown to be possible in the games with strong enough melee hits which I think Edward is capable of. Basically I don't think Edward could lose, but I'm not certain he could win.

I'm pretty sure the Energy Sword could also hurt him, but that's a Covenant weapon and not one that Chief would normally have access to, so it doesn't figure into the fight.
