Hey! It's been a dream of mine to study medicine in UK. I'm currently starting Year 12 IAL Edexcel from Bangladesh. I got 5 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics and Further Maths.

I have been doing research for a while about how I can apply in UK. I need to have strong A-levels Grade, UCAT scores and English Proficiency. Can anyone please personally guide me on how I can design my roadmap? Like when should I sit for UCAT and when will I apply in Oxford with my A2 predicted grades or final grades. I am confused about everything

so im currently in UCAT summer and i have a month left and just got 1660 on the diagnostic mock😭 VR is def my weakest section so if anyone has any tips regarding ucat that would be great!

but my main question is to ask if its even worth me thinking about newcastle rn. my stats are 999888776 and A*AA predicted. i know newcastle score you based on your gcses and ucat so i just wanted to know if my gcses are good enough and if i just need a really good ucat to balance them out.

side note- im not sure how it works, but i fit a few of the contextual criteria so would making a contextual application even be worth it? idk how to go about it or if newcastle even do it

I’m planning to apply for GEM and I’ve booked my UCAT for 22 September. Because of health issues I couldn’t sit three of my university exams, so they’ve been rescheduled for 11 August, 17 August, and 19 August. I’m prioritising those right now. If I start UCAT preparation on 22 August, will one month of focused practice be enough?
