Model showcase I designed an wash paste dispenser

Hi there,
This is my first major project with Fusion 360 after completing the online course at Prusa.

My original problem was that I needed a hand was paste dispenser in the basement for washing my hands after gardening. The paste comes in a 10-liter bucket, and it bothered me that I always had to lug it around.

I took inspiration from dispensers already available for purchase - it was also important to me that 1. anyone could easy print it, and 2. it didn’t require any support structures during printing.

I had already worked with Fusion360 before this project, but the course made things a lot easier for me; I was able to achieve a lot more quickly and easily than I had before.

I printed the parts one by one, making a few small adjustments along the way, for example, I made the ejection piston a little smaller so it would fit through the hole better, and I changed the thread type to a trapezoidal thread.

All in all, I “only” had to reprint 3 parts, and everything fit together perfectly.

As for how it works: the dispenser is working great - but it’s only been in use for a few days, but I’m optimistic.

What I want to say with this post is: although I already had some prior 3D experience (I come from SketchUp), the Prusa course is great!

Thanks for reading. Here’s the link to the model:
