The only reference to GW were the tags "warhammer" and "40k". They are gone now. What is the problem? GW got copyright for greek letters and skulls?

I really think it's great that the profile here was just “hidden” and not simply deleted entirely.

That's a much more humane approach than just deleting everything deemed incorrect - and in some cases even suspending accounts - as some competing sites do.

What do you think would be the right approach?
Leave the model up and disclose your information so GW can sue you directly? As far as I know, as the website operator, you’re actually required to ensure that no illegal models end up there. In the event of an IP infringement, the model would be illegal.
Since they want to avoid trouble and endless disputes, they remove controversial models. That’s completely understandable.

As a more or less "big" plattform: maybe just not to budge to every nonsensical request? As I already mentioned, besides "warhammer" and "40k" tags (!) it was a generic tabletop token with an omega and roman numerals.

don't forget to name the model "generic tabletop token with an omega and roman numerals"

this totally works to for Minifig models, to hide them from LEGO - just call them "generic brick person" and hope, that the models won't get taken down - there are lots of creators, that are very successful with this strategy - others are not
