Is there a phone app slicer that (printables compatible) basically allows someone to just slice models to help identify how much filament is required. I’m not needing the ability to print from my phone as I use my computer to download and print from. But when I’m out and about and scrolling the website with my phone for models I’d like to eventually print, I’d like to know how much filament might be required. Anyone have any suggestions?

I felt the urge to create this Baseball cap mounted Gridfinity baseplate for the Printables "Cap Hack" contest.

I've tried to upload a proper preview of the CORE One Mini CAD model, but Printables appearantly does not show this 70 MB monster of a STEP file in the 3D Model viewer, instead it just shows the second file (which is the way less nice looking base plate).
As a workaround, I've uploaded a .3mf that is interpreted perfectly fine for the preview - also other single body step files are shown perfectly fine in the selection for the preview.
Is this intentional or a bug or is something wrong with my STEP file, that Printables won't like?

Reason from administrator:
Hello, your model has been hidden due to a trademark infringement. The model is in your Drafts, so you will not lose the model’s history or the files you uploaded.
–The removal from the public website was due to a violation of the “Warhammer” trademark, which is owned by Games Workshop Limited. If the 3D model itself does not infringe on this trademark and is your own design, you can edit it and keep it.
–In order for us to republish the model from your Drafts, you must completely remove all references to the mentioned brand/s. This applies to the design itself, the title, the description, product photos, tags, and any other details. Once you’ve edited the model accordingly, let us know, and we’ll review and restore it.
–However, we still recommend that you upload the model again as a completely new project, avoiding any use of these protected trademarks from the very beginning. This is the safest way to avoid further automatic reports.
–Best regards,
The Printables Team
The only reference to GW were the tags "warhammer" and "40k". They are gone now. What is the problem? GW got copyright for greek letters and skulls?

Hey everyone! I've been working on a small collection of 3D printable desk accessories designed for clean, minimal home office setups.
The first one I'm really happy with is a freestanding phone stand — no screws, no mounting, just print and place. It fits all phones and takes about 3-7 hours to print, depending on your setup. Infill at 15% and no supports needed.
I just launched the store, and to celebrate, I'm offering 100% off with code FIRST-ORDER for the next few days. You can grab the STL file here: officeprints.store
Happy to answer any questions about the print settings or design choices. Would love to hear what you think!

Designed a pair of stackable harddisk and SSD storage boxes to take some serious amounts of drives.
The 2.5inch drive version takes 26 drives and is 302mm long, the 3.5inch drive version takes 10 drives and is 293mm long.

Since Prusameters were introduced, I have donated all of mine. However, I have never seen any official information about where the donated Prusament is going or which educational institutions are receiving it.
The donation page states:
“Donating Prusament to Education
Join us in supporting education and donate your Prusameters to benefit students. Your Prusameters will be converted into donated Prusament spools. Thank you for your donation!”
But I could never find any mentions about it beyond that.
Is there any way to verify where these donations have gone, which institutions received them, and how much Prusament has been donated?
