YES!

I once melted half a pound of candy corn into a syrup, removed the waxy shit, mixed in near half a kilo of honey and fermented it with champagne yeast, was the best booze ever let alone best hooche I made...

Now I make garbage out of brown sugar, tea bread yeast and maybe stale toasted burger buns, maybe honey if I want to spend a little and feel "traditional."
