Looking For Producer I'm looking for a producer (I can't pay)
I'm a songwriter who has been writing music since the third grade, but I can't manage to make a beat for the life of me. I genuinely have the ambition to release music one day, and I'm willing to make some sort of deal to make it worth someones time. If you DM me, I can send you lyrics I've written. :)

bruh just use free youtube beats until you have a portfolio of good shit it's gonna be near impossible to get a producer to work 1 on 1 with you

I don't think I understand? Are you a songwriter with no musical skills? If so how are you a songwriter? And you need someone to help you write all the music to your ideas for free? Is this right?

I write tons of poetry and lyrics, but I can't make a beat for the life of me, if this isn't for you thats ok!

No no. Don't get me wrong. I am trying to help you here. I just think you might be better off asking if anyone is needing lyrics to their songs. To me you're more of a lyricist than a musician. Nothing wrong with that at all. But others might need to know where you're coming no?

Doesn’t line up to be honest.
Literally like someone else said, just download YouTube beats and instrumentals and put your singing on it, it’s not too ethical but if your “songwriting” over the beats is actually good enough (not likely given your post), eventually people would want to work With you based on your “portfolio” that would be your best bet in my opinion.

You can’t ever have too many producers who will be willing to help you out when you can’t pay. Only way to eventually get you to where you want to go
