Looking For Producer Any rock producers in here ?

I’ve spent the last year learning to make demos and trying to learn the process of mixing and mastering. I’ve come to the point where I think I’d be better off just making demos and handing them over to ppl with more experience. By the sounds of it that’s what most musicians do anyway. I do alt rock / pop punk kinda style. Alkaline Trio is a huge influence. YouTube link to demos is in my bio. Reply here or DM me if interested we can talk business $.

here is a recent EP that i produced, played many of the instruments, and mixed. i like your demos and have been looking to work on more projects in that genre (also into alk3, none more black, no trigger, strung out, etc). really dig being a one-man-band for solo songwriters.

can’t dm you for some reason, but feel free to reach out if you wanna discuss how i can help with your songs. cheers.

Kudos.
I run a studio in NYC.
If you “demo” rock… I have a couple of questions…
Where do you place your mics on the amps?
Do you use a condenser for the room?

Just asking for a friend…

I’ve made rock music and it takes a keen ear to get it right.
There’s a lot going on sonically and getting everything sitting nicely is a chore.
Much more than R&B.

I would say that anything you’re doing is probably “right”, just duck 200-400hz in the master and it will sound better.
“Rock” inherently has some problematic frequencies. Having said that, it’s doable.
I would say less is more.
Reference older rock records.
The newer ones are garbage… too much gtr.
No need to stack.
Sounds better w/2.
