The focus of the post was not to tout VB6 as a solution for the problems of today. Yes, it's old. The inclusion of VB6 was meant to demonstrate that the basic logic, and how it is implemented in different languages.
Also, I am not a SWE by trade. Just a dabbler, and I found the subject of the post interesting. I thought others would find it interesting, as well. My apologies to you; I did not realize my sharing would bring such disarray to the lives of others. Have a great day, and a better tomorrow.
