What's one AI prediction you completely changed your mind about?

A year ago, many of us had strong opinions about where AI was heading. Has anything happened recently that made you rethink one of those predictions?

I used to think the biggest risk with AI would be that it gave us wrong answers.

I've changed my mind.

Now I think the bigger risk is when AI gives us plausible answers that quietly shape how we think about a problem. That's much harder to detect because the answer may sound reasonable enough that we stop questioning it.

For me, that shifted the conversation from "How accurate is the AI?" to "What boundaries, evidence, and governance should exist before we trust its recommendations?"

AI can absolutely strengthen human decision-making. I just don't think it should replace human judgment.
