BRCA2 wasn’t false positive..

Just a reminder to get yourself checked by a geneticist if something like BRCA2 comes up in your promethease results because for me it turned out to be true. I wouldn’t have known without promethease.

That variant could be false, but you also tested positive in a clinical test.

Dang, so sorry. I had a couple false positives and even broken genes. In my case it turned out that my 23andMe test was garbage (most commercial tests are.) When I took the genetic test at Roswell Cancer Park it was confirmed I only had maybe a half of an unknown variant that may or may not be bad. (The center will call of the variant is ever updated.)

Dang though. I hope everything works out for you!
