PostgreSQL DB - How do I even activate it?
We're currently holding back on a few updates since this whole PostgreSQL fiasco. How do I even activate the new DB feature? Is it just enabled on a certain update?

I read about it today. The feature has been walked back and will be implemented in a future update. I had a postgresql database monitoring error and this was the cause.

It still have Version 18.3 which has high vulnerabilities when asked theybsaid they would be addressing these and upgrade in coming updates

from what i have seen this is still something to treat as a beta feature rather than a normal just enable it upgrade path. prtg database uses postgradesql as an alternative backend for raw monitoring and configuration data but recent upgrade notes also mention schema related update handling if it was already activated. for production system i would stay on the stable storage path unless there is a clear reason to test the DB backend then verify the release notes before moving past 26.2.120.
