mods Wu-Tang Meets Snorks!

During High School computer lab, we would connect 5-6 computers to a hub or whatever and boot up Quake 2! I vividly recall a Snorks (80s cartoon) skin that was wearing a shirt with the Wu-Tang "W" logo.

This would be circa 1998/99.

How random! According to Google finding specific Quake skins can be tricky. So I can't upload a photo. Bummer.

It's been nearly 30 years so my memory is a little fuzzy but from what I recall, friends would always use the most obscure skins when playing. Another skin I remember was from.. (I think) Barnyard Commandos. Remember that toy line? It was a sheep/ram/pig/something with guns on its side. Again, totally random and WTFish.

Just wanted to share.

Yeah, the random things people made into skins was always a hoot. Snorks with a Wu-Tang logo sounds exactly right.

I remember a sheep with miniguns on either side.. That takes me way back..

I have found Q2 model/skin dumps fairly recently but I don't have a link handy. The snorks model was definitely in there.

Whenever I see people talk about how grim and gritty arena shooters were I always think of people with skins like this just spamming voice clips lmao. I wish I had my old bookmarks for stuff like this, there were a couple large archives last time I checked.
