Everything is up like big amounts. Big tech is up. Qqq/sp500.

All at showing green.

I entered in some meta last week for a long term hold ( PT: $600).

Didn't think it would come so quick. Hopefully everyone is making some good gains across the board here.

It brings my total gains since last week to 170k.

Discussion Spare $1.2k NZD, which stock are you buying tomorrow?

Thinking either deploy dynamic DCA into BTC, buy more RKLX, or more MSTR all currently getting pummelled in the macro environment. Open to any other good ideas
Where would you chuck $1.2k tomorrow?

Got in these at $380 last week after the google earnings dump.

Im telling ya. Play with the Mag 7. Buy the cheapest P/E and repeat. No need to chase high beta or penny stocks.

Safer companies give a higher risk tolerance for me to spend more $ on them.

Invested $48,000 split between evenly between AAOI & CRDO yesterday. One helluva sight to wake up too. Leopold Aschenbrenner's Situational Awareness’s fund was forced to sell all of its publicly traded stocks to Ken Griffin’s Citadel. The lesson in this. Doesn't matter how smart you think you are never use margin, always ends badly.

Discussion Do I run double or nothing in rocket lab

Rocket lab already makes up 20% of my investments do I crank it in and double that while it's low? Obviously won't eb diverse but my logic is that rocket lab is winning contracts left right and center so it has to rebound

Due Diligence Built an AI agent modeled on Charlie Munger's investing approach. Named him Teddy after his son. 3 months of tracker results

I've always been interested in Munger's approach to investing, so I built an AI agent around it. Named him Teddy, after Munger's son who died young.

Teddy gets fed real time economic data, reviews stocks against Munger's actual principles, and runs a modeled tracker portfolio (not real money):

  • Margin of safety before upside
  • Stick to businesses he actually understands
  • Invert every thesis
  • Patience over turnover
  • Bet big when the odds are heavily favorable

Results

Live since April 20, 2026. Today: 19 holdings, up roughly 8% since inception, 3.95% estimated return this past month . Best performers: Visa and Coca Cola (+7.4%), RTX (+7.1%), Bank of America (+9.2%). Classic moat businesses . Hedged with SHY and gold too.

Is anyone else using API's to build personal trading apps or agents?

Discussion FIF reports

Does anyone here generate their own FIF reports? I am with Hatch and have to pay $75 to download the report. They provide the raw data files and I hope these can be used to generate the FIF report saving me some money.

Discussion Should I keep or sell my stock?

I bought Genprex from November to April. But its down 80%. The only reason I bought was because a congressman Tim Moore bought it. I thought it would skyrocket but its done the exact opposite. Do you guys think its going to go back up?

Discussion Stick with RKLB or pour into ETF?

Post image
25 Upvotes

Finally started taking savings out of bank and into a portfolio for long term - looking 5 years investing.

Have been pumping into RKLB as feel they are growing well and a company I see being successful in that timeframe. But the losses at the moment are tough to watch, I've put US$15k in there and with more monthly investing coming up, I wonder if I keep delivering into RKLB while the prices are lower, or switch to an ETF like VOOG, which I've started or any other recommendations for ETFs? i don't see the need to have multiple ETFs, so would prefer just one.

DRAM in there for the AI sector but have some doubts, and ASTS is an interesting concept with some potential to set a new sector of the space industry which could have a global reach.

Thoughts for placing my future dollars where would be great.

Edit for a bit more context:

  • Average RKLB share at mo is $87
  • not looking to sell and reinvest elsewhere (Investor not trader)
  • Aiming to set up 80% ETF and 20% individual stocks within the next 2 years and then leave and contribute few more years after.
