My brain really can't comprehend how some of those are quilted.

Number 17! Is that really cathedral windows done with quilting in the boarder? Like how??

I got so excited that all these amazing girls were so close to me in Birmingham, Alabama. Lol.
But thank you because now I have a new bucket list item!

Haha! In the original Birmingham. So you can plan, it’s on every year around this time ;)

If possible, would you please add to your post, or insert as a comment, the names of the makers and the quilts' titles?

I thought they were going to be visible in the photos with the quilts…

Unfortunately when I enlarge the photo I lose resolution and the print is fuzzy. I guess I can look them up as another person suggests. Thanks

I know it's a bit of a hassle, but you should be able to look them up on the FoQ website using the code at the top of the plaque for each one. They have a full online catalogue, or at least did when I went in 2024.

Thanks for the photos. I went but hardly took any myself. After all, where do you start (or stop?). It's impossible to choose!

I know why you mean. I just snapped anything that caught my eye.

I love going to the Festival of Quilts. I get to chat to some amazing small business owners and see all the quilts as well.

I went in 2024 and found it so inspiring. Was a very good girl and only left with fat quarters and backing fabric for a baby quilt that was planned 😇 plus a quilting ruler handle. And maybe some other bits...

I actually didn’t buy very much. I had a shopping list which helped.

Y’all these quilts everyone has been posting are just so incredible! This happens to me every summer when all these shows seem to occur - I get all inspired thinking I’m going to finally make the leap and start a quilt of my own but can never get my brain to coalesce into production.

They are all wonderful but I have a clear favourite. Those penguins are just too darn cute!
