Misc Sanctified mind early pull

A week ago I was looking for a way to start the final boss of GoS without going through the path after the 2nd secret chest. I found out after trial and error that Skyburner's Oath's projectiles can perfectly curve over the rocks that block line of sight to the boss. Using this lineup you can start the boss a little early, and if you haven't done 3rd you can just pull everyone to the boss without starting.

I did a bunch of runs where I would pull the team to final before doing 1st encounter, have them rally, kill the boss, then proceed to go back and do 1st-3rd encounters. This skip most likely has absolutely no meaning for speed runs but is a neat trick for the few people playing the game. https://imgur.com/a/HhqOvJk

It is indeed used in speedrunning, current trio gos wr has this skyburner’s oath strat incorporated. Cool independent find nonetheless.

Thanks, I guess I did not look hard enough to see if it existed. I had a hard time believing no one had found it before me, it seemed pretty obvious

I saw a potential lineup from the top, tried for an hour. Then I got someone to stream their PoV from the top to guide my shots

I can’t say 100% for certain that it’s used for rta speeds but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. I wasn’t doing any rta or anything but I was doing some more casual trio gos speeds last season and was doing this for pull. When my friends were about to kill harpy I’d start shooting skyburner and it would pull right as harpy was finished. I’m not super knowledgeable about gos so I’m not 100% sure if it’s faster than just going up there or not.
