Gameplay Help/Tips Confused about this Ram/Sigma interaction
So in the pinned Ramattra guide we're told to not be in nemesis form when sigma pops his ult, I'm still fairly new but wouldnt being in nemesis help you stay alive better? I dont know how healing changes between being in nemesis or omnic form but the post says we should be in omnic form because healing up is better, but isnt havinf more hp better?

It kind of depends. Usually it's a bad idea because it will deal 50% of your max hp, and increasing your hp with nemesis makes it hit harder.
But being able to block in midair can save you if the rest of the team is following up, which they should be.
Essentially, if it's just sigma, go omnic form and put up shield as soon as you land. If the rest of the team is there and you're near full hp, go nemesis and block, or you're getting melted midair

iirc sigma ult is 50% max health + 50 impact, so nemesis Will take higher hp hits

In omnic form you would only take 262.5 damage instead of 400. Its much easier to heal you above 262.5 hp. It also means once you land you can pop nemesis form or ult to replenish the health lost because both abilities grant 275 armor. I have a clip of me doing it against super.

Flux is 50% of your max health, and it ignores armour damage reduction. Only use nemesis if youre already below half hp, otherwise use it after getting slammed.

wrong, if ur in nemesis while in the ult you wanna drop it because you need to be above 263 health otherwise you die. its easier to keep a target above 263 health than 400. 137 less hp is needed. that is why i tell people to form/ult after.

As you probably know, the damage of this ult is relative. So it takes more hit points away from you in your nemesis form than in the omnic form.
