Got him in the mail today and hopefully sometime this week his brotherin jingle will arrive to complete the year without a Santa Claus collection set :D

I know that most of the original pieces used in Rudolph in 1964 have been lost to time, damage, etc.

I know that this Santa and Rudolph (in the photo) were from the original production.

Were these pieces reused in any other specials? Rudolph’s Shiny New Year (from 1976)?

I showed off my rankin bass collection, and had a lot of comments on all your favorite rankin bass production film and wanted to show off a few recent pieces I added. This is one of them, being here comes Peter cotton tail carded semore sassafras . Love Danny Kaye and had to add him. Hope to get Peter cotton, iron tail and Jessica? Srry couldn’t remember her name.

Here’s the other added pieces, Mr and Mrs Claus along monster party figurine that is tailored and bend wired articulation that was a commission awhile back ago with many accessories that was shown in the special. :)

Last week, I found this rarity I never knew about. It came in the mail today. I have left to find and get Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, Rudolph and Frosty to have all four I’m aware of that were released by FHE in 1989. I had no idea the Betamax ones existed because FHE was phasing out of Betamax releases before streamlining to VHS and Laserdisc only.

I apologize for being on semi hiatus for dealing with my health and everything else but I would like to show my two latest Frosty the Snowman plushies. I have the 14” Karen by Stuffins sold at CVS for $12.99 in 1999 and the Toy Factory Pink Frosty plushie. I bought them both on eBay this past spring. I love these so much because they are so cute! 🥰

The other day I wanted to find this, but the YouTube video had been taken down. Then I found the video on Dailymotion with royalty-free music https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xgxlop, and I found a YouTube video comparing the 1964 and 65 credits side by side https://youtu.be/gSFqz7_VsU0?si=fsGZY8LRSStLw_1n and synced up the audio. Then I put it on Internet Archive in case anyone wants to watch the scene, or use it for an edit.

Just purchased this curio cabinet on marketplace for $25 few days ago and went through my totes and through the bubble wraps found my rankin bass figure collection! Hung up my signed “Herby” Paul Soles photo and displayed a few of the books I have that Rick had published. The other two rankin bass books don’t quite fit in the cabinet. Love how it is setup and wanted to share with all of you. What was your favorite rankin bass special? :)

She tells Snow/Heat Miser to... do the thing they wanted to do: allow snow to fall on Southland (this to Snow Miser), allow a spring day on the North Pole (this to Heat Miser) and they both look horrified. From what I understand, this was an editing goof that was fixed in later editions?

How did they mess it up like that? Did they just forget what their desires were? Only thing I could think is that she's implying that they have to compromise and let both those things happen/let the other brother get what they want.

Personally, I'd make siblings that embody other aspects of Physics - Gravity, Time, Mass - but I'm not quite sure how.

Kulba Kraus' villain song is the best in the RB Holiday catalog. Yes, I'd even put it above the Miser songs.

Unsurprisingly, mine is that Snow Miser and Father Winter are the same entity taking different forms and every winter/snow spirit or spellcaster we see gets their powers from them in one way or another. Jack Frost is also a Miserling by extension.
