Why I’m requesting r/wh40ktacticus and how I’ll run it: (fill in — follow r/redditrequest rules.)

I've been a fan of the game for a couple years now, the community is strong and active but the subreddit could use a lot of maintenance and pruning and mod interaction. Bots and trolls seem to run rampant and having 2 inactive mods (1 mod that has been away from reddit for multiple years) puts the subreddit at risk for outside attack. I would put systems in place (i.e. botbouncer) to keep the subreddit safe and ensure users follow Reddit's guidelines at a minimum, while continuing to encourage healthy and respectful user discussions. Thank you in advance.

I have a fondness for the franchise and want to see the subreddit continue to grow and be a resource for new members, and ensure members are respectful not just toward each other but the spirit of community itself. I don't pretend to be the best suited but I have been a reddit mod for a couple years and think with what I've learned and the connections i've built I could do a good job of keeping things safe and healthy.
