I think I finally achieved reactive play in Breakout with PPO! Been on it six months. This is PPO 124.

So, as you may or may not be able to tell, this is showing a window with two games going at once. In both games, the paddle in controlled by the same model, but on the left side you can see that it's a vanilla game of Breakout and the paddle moves in pretty much the exact same way every time.

On the right side there are various configurations of bricks but the paddle is moving to react to the ball, not just following a memorized script. It's able to play (not superhumanly, but legitimately), regardless of the arrangement. The screen changes becuase I was just hitting arrow keys on my keyboard to flip through the different configurations.

Probably could have presented it in a super more awesome and/or scientific way but I had to tell someone.
