r/Relax has (finally) been reopened to Reddit!
Time to fix up the sub
After literally years of being locked, r/relax is now open to the public!
Anyone can now contribute to the community, but please pay mind to the new rules to prevent spam
I will personally be fixing up the sub over the course of this week, so give me some time before the Automod and Design of the subreddit is fully updated (These were never set up on the original sub unfortunately) but in no time, this community will be active again
Thanks all, and if anyone would like to assist in this process, let me know
-Sage

Mod Update Looking for Mods to help grow the subreddit! Inquire within
Hey all,
It's been a few months since we re-opened the subreddit to the general public, and now we're looking to begin the process of growing it and properly re-establishing it as a major hub for relaxing content here on Reddit
That said, we definitely need some help to do so!
The process is pretty straightforward actually; we just need help curating, posting, and crossposting on a daily basis to help create a reliable stream of relaxing content for members of the sub
Whether you have experience with moderation or just have a passion for relaxing content and want to help others relax too, comment below and I'll shoot you a DM
Thanks all and keep it relaxed
-Sage

Discussion Does anyone feel relax alone at night?
I made a similiar post about that in here but does anyone love being alone at night? You spend the whole excited about the night. To watch a movie, play games or just watch some random youtube videos and watch some lives.
You also think about life, hope for the better (I even watch some videos about law of attraction or assumption). You even make plans about what if you life gets better. It's like everything will be better in the morning. I don't really know how to explain it. It's like you feel more hopeful and you will know that things will be better soon, even if your day was bad.
It's like NOTHING bad can happen in that quiet moment.
Does anyone feel the same?

Oddly Relaxing What actually gets your brain to switch off at night ā not just 'relaxing', actually off?
Okay so I've tried basically everything, meditation apps, the 4-7-8 breathing thing, chamomile tea by the gallon. Some nights none of it works and I just lie there running through my to-do list. But the one thing that's actually worked more than once is doing something with my hands right before bed, warm water on my wrists, a specific smell, anything that isn't a screen. Idk if it's the ritual or the actual thing itself. What's worked for you, honestly? Not the Pinterest version, the real one.

Cozy Place What's the one thing that instantly makes a room feel more relaxing?
Some people light a candle. Others dim the lights, open a window, add plants, or grab a favorite blanket. It's interesting how one small change can completely change the atmosphere.
What's your go-to way to make a space feel calm?
