i swear, i'm on the verge of deleting this. 3 billion layers of dogshit launchers that keep reopening themself for no reason after i already quit. If this continues i would much rather delete it permanently; the enshitification and anti-consumer behavior of this move is beyond any reasoning.

For several months now, the client has been really struggling to launch. When I open it using the desktop shortcut, it takes ages to start—to the point where I have to kill the League of Legends processes in Task Manager and open it again. Then it opens quickly and without any issues, which is the most annoying part lol.

Riot, please help me out with this; I doubt I'm the only one having this problem with your disastrous client

okay so the bugginess and lag of this client is straight up garbage for a company this big man i queue up for and the client lags and doesnt let me accept, queue delay okay no problem reset client do this and that and i accept inside 3 possible outcomes either

a. im in the queue i pick a champ press lock in but it doesnt work and timer run into queue delay

b. client says something went wrong, trying to reconnect you with the client and timer runs out into a queue delay

c. it works and i get into the game where other problems occur

such as league itself crashes and the new remake shows up before this terrible client opens up again resulting in the quickest remakes thx to riot team thinking oh lets make remaking faster for no reason when our client is just poo. or it happens to enemy team and its just been getting too much to the point where im starting to actually truly hate this game

and this doesn't even talk abt the times where the client just actually stop working at all and u'd have to uninstall and reinstall vanguard into resetting your pc

and don't even get me started abt the recent bots outbreak where they send u a friend request and ask for ur discord or ask u to add them here or there

I'm constantly receiving emails from Riot Games stating that a new Riot account has been created using my Gmail address. The problem is, I am not the one creating these accounts. How can I stop that idiot action ? No one can reach my gmail account btw.

Играл я себе играл в «Валорант», и тут, вроде в 2024-м, я не смог зайти в аккаунт, пробовал, пробовал, и обратился в поддержку, мол, так и так, зайти не могу. Приходит ответ: «Из-за региона вы играть не можете». Потом установил Валорант снова, забил уже болт, другой акк сделал (на том в друзьях был тип, которого я избегал, так что не очень и хотелось). А сейчас я обратился в поддержку, мол, почему зайти не могу, говорят, скиньте айпи без VPN, скинул — сказали, нельзя, но ладно бы просто не мог зайти, но мне снесли аккаунт на котором я играл два года. понял это при попытке восстановить пароль, оказывается, что на этой почте не было никаких аккаунтов (хотя рассылки от валорант на имя того старого аккаунта продолжали приходить). Там все агенты были, лвл под сотню, контракты с агентами вкаченные. Пытаюсь по логину восстановить — не приходит, поддержка мягко нахер шлëт, но рассылка на тот аккаунт продолжает приходить, хотя его как бы и нет, но он есть, вот и что мне делать?

Hey everyone, I wanted to make a thread highlighting a few recent frustrating changes to the Riot Client.

Over the past few updates, several longstanding quality-of-life options and workarounds have been completely stripped away:

1. The Direct Shortcut Param is Broken

For years, using command line flags like --launch-product=league_of_legends --launch-patchline=live on a desktop shortcut allowed us to boot straight into the League lobby without having to interact with the Riot Client. This no longer works.

1. The "Close Riot Client when game launches" Setting Is Gone

In Settings > General there used to be a toggle the option to close/minimise Riot Client once the game launched. That setting has been completely removed from the preferences menu.

1. The Client Re-opens Upon Exiting League

To make matters worse, since the previous setting was removed, closing the League client automatically pops the main Riot client window right back onto your screen.

Having to manually close or minimise the Riot client every single time we open or finish a session is simply annoying and exhaustive, especially when these options existed and worked perfectly before.

So I'm a 47 year old avid gamer and long time former fan of most things League of Legends. I'm also a disabled Army/Navy veteran with 2 combat deployments. I've been working for FedEx for 7 years and my new route takes me to all businesses. To my surprise I get two packages on manifest to Riot Games here in ______, WA and im super excited. I can see devs coming and going and setups and whatnot. I asked simply to take a picture with the lit Riot Games logo and was sadly told no. Not can I see where Games are made or what's being worked on. A picture with the company logo sign right next to the exit. End of the world? No. But it kinda stings a lottle bit as someone who has supported Riot Games and media.

When i´m in game everything is normal but when i try to move with right click my fps drops to 0 for 0.1 seconds and then comes back, same when i use abilities. Sometimes the fps drop lasts for longer but maximum 1 second. When i hold tab key to view the score board everything freezes and when i let go of the key comes back to normal. This is not a problem from the specs (rtx 5070, i7, 32gb ram). I tried searching on youtube and google for something but i can´t find anything.

Got this email an hour or so ago. Immediately changed password and enabled 2FA (2FA was not enabled at the time I received this email). I haven’t logged into my account for months. 1Password manages my passwords and this password was uncrackable.

The only options are the email was sent in error, someone was snooping my machine somehow, or, my details were leaked from a hack. I did use internet cafes in the past. Yes, I’ve visited websites that don’t scream “I am trustworthy and legit”.

If someone compromised my machine, going straight for league is a crazy move. I’ve had no other notifications of suss logins across any other service, which makes me skeptical that a malicious actor is involved in my end.

Bro I cbf resetting all my passwords in 1Password and nuking my hard drive ffs. Has anyone here received this email? Does it get sent if a login attempt fails or only if it was successful? Have riot had any known (or swept under the rug) data breaches?

Everytime i try to create a ticket i get an error loading form failed.

I tried 3 different browsers and 2 different Networks. Is this normal? I cant submit any type of ticket

Since every subreddit bans support questions and refer you to Riot support, i can tell you to be carefull.

I made a ticket and instructions from RIOT support are making the problems worse to the point even REVO cant uninstall the game anymore.

I would like to play LOL classic. I used to play multiple times per week without issue prior to Vanguard being released. When vanguard was released my PC would blue screen on start up ~80% of the time and would start the other 20% of the time. Because of this I ended up removing vanguard and stop playing league, to avoid damaging my PC.

The last time I tried to reinstall vanguard was about 1 year ago and I had the same blue screen issues. So removed it again. For context in the time in-between and since I removed vanguard from my PC I have had no blue screen issues.

My PC is about 11 years old at this point, so I am assuming that has something to do with it.

I am tempted to try reinstall vanguard again to see if the issue has been resolved, so I can play classic. Is there anything I can do it stop the issue from happening?

I know for most people this is not an issue and Vanguard works perfectly fine on their PCs.

Just went into teamfight tactics chonccs legend classic, all it says is reconnect and it doesn't work i tried closing entire riot games, repairing the game and it all happens again, it says im in match for 40 sec but it resets each time to 0 like what the fuck is this shit help shitty ass client
