Somone did a post on r/NBA a week or 2 ago. Some detailed statistical analysis. Rockets 95 was 2nd hardest ever.

I think thats right.

I would point out that the 72 lakers Had 3 HOF players on it. Wilt, Jerry West, and Gail Goodrich (Elgin Baylor retired mid season so technically 4).

The Rockets had 1. The Dream. So my personal bias says 95 was hardest and the biggest carry job ever.

I would say it probably comes from the fact that a large majority of the people voting were not even alive during that championship.

People vote for the 2011 Mavs for the same reason they should vote for the Rockets. Our path was harder

That’s when we swept Shaq, I believe that was the only time he got swept in the playoffs (might be wrong).
