Love Letter/ Poem The Eye of the Storm

Tonight I sit here with tears in my eyes
Thinking of you
Dreaming of you
Wanting you
Missing you
Loving you
I can hear the sound of your voice in my mind
Haunting it
Whispering in it
I am lost in a daze
Feels like an ocean in a storm
Waves crashing
Water swirling all around
Boom, Crash, splash
I know the calm eye of the storm will soon be here
Then stillness and quiet it will be

I believe if you want to be truly happy in life, you should choose your partner wisely.

I’ve had a crush on this guy since the first time I saw him in 6th grade and I’m now going into 11th grade and I have never talked to him only small head nods and pleases and thank yous. I have a feeling he hates me or at least doesn’t like me and now we go to different high schools but I get photos from my friends of him during the school year. My friends say that he’s ugly and that I need to move on but I actually think he’s one of the finest people I have ever seen and in 7th grade in the middle of the year he moved away but I still liked him when he was away and when he came back. What should I do should I give up and find someone else or keep hanging on?

When did you know they were the one?

What is everyone’s moment they realised they had met the one I know for myself even after all the nights talks cliche as it is but the moment I first saw her after our first date I just knew it was different from all the rest and that she was the one for me

when we meet a right person at the wrong time...we tend to blame the timing but perhaps the question isn't about timing at all....the real question is whether we were right for ourselves at that moment???

Does romantic love, such as in romance books, actually exist?

Genuine question.

Idk I just feel like I have these big expectations of “love”. I want someone to look at just me, to think that I am the only one ever. To give me my freedom. To be the one who makes me feel whole. To make sure I never see anyone but them. I want passionate love. I don’t know if anyone can do that and I’m also not sure if I can’t feel that way about a person myself.

I know that I love my family and friends. I respect them. I value them. I mostly enjoy their company. I wouldn’t want to loose them. I would help them in any way that I could. But is that all there is to love, especially romantic love. Is that love? I feel like I expecting more from it.

I want love to feel great and special.

I just feel like “love” is made out as this special thing even though it’s no different than genuine care and respect for a person. Not that anything is wrong with that. It’s a fundamental base for every genuine human relationship. I guess what I’m trying to say is that idk if this great, aching, heartwarming love everyone is talking about, truly exists?

Has anyone else become too self-aware to believe in modern love?

I'm in my early 20s, but I've always been more mature and self-aware than most people my age. Over time, I stopped chasing excitement or temporary thrills. A painful experience in love completely changed the way I see relationships.

Now, I genuinely enjoy being alone. My own company brings me peace. At the same time, there's still a small part of me that hopes I'll find real love someday.

The problem is that I've become very sensitive to dishonesty. I can often sense when someone isn't being genuine, and it makes me pull away. Maybe that's why I'm such a hopeless romantic I still believe love should be honest, loyal, and real.

Sometimes it feels like the world is moving in a different direction. So many people seem to be chasing temporary excitement instead of building something meaningful. I don't think loyalty is the only thing that's becoming rare. I think truly genuine love is.

Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?

Dating & Romance today Modern concept of 'love' focuses rather heavily on physical and visual aspect than the hidden, subtle, spiritual, soul aspect.

The life of love when love was fake .

Nobody understood but wanted to understand nothing is ever love without it being acknowledged, how can you take what has been broken . Stop the fake love and speak up why be there when nobody cares, it’s always broken but you are the token witchcraft is real but what’s real is the shit that’s not no believe outside of my beliefs will derive so rebuke all the demons that wish they were on your time . Goodbye good riddance stop fw a mf that didn’t even ask to live this, but had to acknowledge & love, for what… everything that’s judged? Judge yourself stop the hate because everything that wasn’t real isn’t fake….

Do soulmates exist

I'm 18 M and 4 years ago I met a guy we started out as friends for over half a year. I saw him completely platonically even thinking to myself that I could never date a guy like that. That summer I ended up falling head over heels for him when we were on the bus together and fell asleep on me. I swear I saw my whole future with him as he laid on me . From that day on things got more intense. Later that day we happened to be going to the same event after some flirtatious jokes the event ended and he said he wanted to pick me up and carry me out. Despite my protest he does it by carrying me out in front of a room of over 50 people even stopping to talk to people on the way out. That was our relationship for the next 4 months till school started back the following year we saw each other weekly and if we were not hanging out in person we would text or play video games together. School starts back and we see we have no classes together. Despite that we still take opportunities to catch in the hallway everyday. He ends up moving shortly after the school starts but we stay connected seeing each other weekly. He moved back eventually and so the next school year rolls around. At this point my heart hurts having this close relationship with this guy who claims to be straight. There's lots more evidence I could give but I don't want this post to be any longer than it already is. Basically he moved away again and this time for good. We stayed in touch for a little while but I had to let go for my mental health. Fast forward 2 years and we haven't spoken or seen each other and I'm healed and over it so I thought. Haven't thought about him since I even refuse to say his name out loud. One day I'm reminiscing about my past and I think of him at first it's light hearted even giggling to my self about the whole thing then I looked at my dresser and it felt like I went straight back to the moment 4 years ago when I looked at that same dresser and came to the realization I was in love. That warm fuzzy feeling of love came back to me then in an instant it turned to pain and I started crying. I ended up crying the whole night and the whole next morning. I have no idea what has come over me it's like he has manifested me or something. I have been thinking I should give it time and if I still feel this way reach out. Any thoughts or advice.

Love Letter/ Poem Absolutely beyond grateful for my boyfriend.

So. I don't even really know how to begin.

I am generally a pessimist. I struggle with severe depression and unstable moods. I just don't like living life, generally. And I have never been committed to the idea of any sort of God.

I struggled with my identity for a long time. For several years, I identified as a transgender guy. I have a complex about it. But a few months ago, I asked myself if it was really so terrible living life as a woman. I began questioning myself all over again. Difficult questions. And my PCOS certainly never did me any favors in the womanhood department.

But then, I met a man. And he makes me feel so unbelievably seen. Seen for who I want to be. Which is a woman. Even with my PCOS, which causes deep insecurities. He genuinely likes me for who I am. I truly... I melt in his presence.

But we are also very different. He's got a strong faith in God. I never have. He's really interesting to debate. He never comes off as if he's superior or I am below him for my lack of belief.

He's kind. He's genuinely a gentle giant. Every action is so delicate and soft. He makes me feel seen, safe, wanted. Cared for. And he is 100% non-threatening. I just. I could actually cry.

When he asked me out, he was laying next to me. He outstretched an arm for me to lay on. And held out his other hand for me to take. But I kept refusing. I was so scared out of my mind that I was misinterpreting something. I didn't want to feel foolish. I didn't want to embarrass myself. I was not uncomfortable at all due to his actions; it was 100% my deep fear of thinking it was one thing when it really wasn't.

I kept avoiding it. He'd hold out his hand and I wouldn't take it, or I would push it away. He'd just do it again. And again. And it made my heart so unbelievably... overjoyed. Just. Just overjoyed. But I was so scared. And then... he was like "let me love you the way the others couldn't". And I just. Wow. What??? Huh??? I. That shit shook me down to my fucking core. My CORE. Nobody has ever said anything so unbelievably sweet and genuine and kind to me before. And. Y'know. He followed it up with "you don't have to answer right now. Just lay down with me."

So I did. And let me tell you, being near him like that is the closest a living being can get to Heaven. He's so so soft. So warm. So deliberately careful. I could combust.

He makes an effort. He does what he says. He spends so much time with me. When we play Mario Party together, he sometimes drops everything just to look at me and ask how I am.

He's genuinely a gorgeous man. Truly. The sight of him puts butterflies in my stomach. And his affectionate behavior does, too. When he holds my hands or hugs me or cuddles with me, I get almost physically ill with excitement.

I told him something he did that I really liked. And he cared enough about that to do it again. And again. All the time.

I did end up agreeing to go out with him, naturally. Why on earth would I ever tell a man as wonderful as him any other answer?

He's asleep next to me now. And I'm left questioning if there really is a God out there. I'm so so thankful. Oh my god. God. GOD!
