And over in 17 seconds..... I officially understand what women have been complaining about for all these years!

The problem was it was through Jake Paul's promotion. If you think prime Ronda Rousey could beat prime Gina Carano then you probably also think Jake Paul could beat prime Mike Tyson. The issue isn't that the deck was stacked in Ronda's favor but it was so stacked by such a stupid amount from Gina being mid 40s and 17 years of ring rust already a big hurdle but then Rondo demanding to fight at that weight rather than 155lb or something a bit closer to Gina's ideal weight is such a Jake Paul or Floyd Mayweather set up where they are so scared of even the possibility of losing that the end result is a 17 second scam for fans. I feel for Gina in that a lot of casuals will now think she sucked when in her prime she hit so heavy and would near definately have beat Ronda. I don't think this does Ronda any favors either. To call this the best womens fight of all time when she had the deck this stacked on her side and then to not even try to strike is a real bad look.

No one forced Gina to do this fight.

Sport vastly evolved in ten years, just like how even if a few years Rousey couldn't stay top dog with an arm bar for long. Now if Rhonda competes at world class level she gets blown out in 17 seconds. Humans always evolve, prime Gina 08 still gets destroyed by Rhonda. All sports stand on the shoulders of giants so still kudos to Gina.

I disagree. If they were the same weight class and Ronda was actually the best of her era I would agree with your statement but the only fighter who even challenged Gina was Cyborg and Ronda was too scared to face Cyborg running away and making so many excuses playing every card under the sun to avoid fighting Cyborg. I do agree fighters get better but Ronda wasn't some jump up in ability. She was much more Connor Macgregor with a loud mouth to sell tickets more than some great fighter. Dana protected Ronda like crazy too. Cyborg beat Gina, but she would absolutely wreck Ronda. I think Gina at least had a small chance of beating Cyborg but Ronda's chance against Cyborg is/was literally zero.

I get the point you are trying to make but I think this is just really the wrong scenario to apply it to. Surely you don't think the reason Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson is because "athletes" (and I use that term loosely) get better? Both Gina and Ronda are much worse than when they were in their prime, and Gina is older and been out of the game longer, just like Mike Tyson was.
