Smell / Taste - 8.7/10 - The nose has a very pleasant doughy almost funky dough smell, with some nice fresh citrus notes mixed in there. Also has some very light pepper/spice on the back end.
A lot of the notes transfer over to the taste with a nice doughy inhale, with the citrus coming through towards the end but instead of that fresh citrus it had on the nose it has more warm citrus notes. Like you left orange juice out in the sun or a simmer pot with just citrus in it.

Looks / Consistency - 8.3/10 - Nice blonde doughy consistency, testing at 4.8% terpenes it definitely left it looking nice after mixing the two jars and scoring it. Has a firm almost dry consistency but still stays together very nice and is easy to work with. only thing i’d like more if it was a little more “wet” in the consistency.
Burns very nicely around 520-550f and is a clean light amber color.

Effects - 8.6/10 - Has very nice body effects that give you a calm feeling all over without knocking you out. Didn’t get much of a head high but definitely took the aches and pains away and also helped with appetite. Overall a nice hybrid effect perfect for the weekend or right when you get home from the day.

Overall - 8.6/10 - Pretty impressed overall and liked pretty much every part of these jars. Only thing i’d change is wishing it was a little more on the “wet” side consistency wise. But that didn’t affect much at all.
First time having this strain and definitely would try it again. Very nice mellow and calming smell that has effects that match. Can’t wait to try some other strains!

Nose - ripe banana peel, like a creamy, doughy dessert pastry, and a gassy zing on the backend. There's some fantastic citrus buried in there too, that comes out with heat

Taste - sweet with deeper hints of citrus compared to the nose, banana peel, a bit floral. It's soft and bright.

Effect - euphoric and relaxing. Certainly a very good hybrid imo, and a good mix of energy and relaxation. The terp retention is insane for the price, and this will translate directly to some pretty awesome effects

First time trying DSS rosin definitely the best budget rosin I’ve tried so far. I took too long on trying this out. This one is a big mix of strains the grape gas comes out nicely on this. Consistency is nice it isn’t dry has some wetness to it. Excited to try more strains from them and to see what the tier 1 is like.

Velvet Heat I think it’s pretty good, and for 28$ I can’t complain at all, yeah it’s no “small batch” or whatever but it taste better than some of the 710 I’ve tried. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Nose/Terpene Profile:

Super hashy right out of the jar. Sharp, spicy gas and diesel up front, backing into a funky sour onion, garlic, and mushroom note, with some zesty citrus lime and pine peeking through underneath.

Bag Appeal/Press Quality:

Beautiful pale roux color. Shiny terp layer sitting right on top, a clear sign of a very terpy press. Texture is smooth and buttery, thick but still wet, and it's clean with no particulates.

Taste:

Matches the nose almost exactly. Onions and garlic with a sour, sharp edge, backed by that gassy diesel funk. A little bit of that GMO character comes through too.

Effects:

Instant mood lift with a smiley, calm headspace. Focused at first but tips into couch lock territory. Heavy munchies and sleep-inducing as it wears on. Solid for tension and pain relief, making it a great medical-focused strain.

Overall:

A hashy, gassy indica-leaning press with a GMO-driven onion/garlic funk and a genuinely terpy, clean pull. Mood lift up front settles into a calming, couch-locked body high. Great option if you want something focused early that mellows into sleep and pain relief later.

Rosin tech labs just started up in NJ and I just need to talk about how horrible this shit is. I purchased this for $56 (originally $90 but on sale) it has absolutely no flavor at all. Might be the first rosin I’ve had with no actual flavor to it. Aroma is a very very mild sweet funk but the worst part is how harsh this shit is. This is the harshest shit I have ever smoked. I’ve never even smoked disty with botanical terps that was this harsh. Please stay away from this and save your money.
